We offer our customers maximum flexibility from our PCB design service – We can design at our client’s site, on a long or short term basis, or from our offices. We have seats of Mentor Graphics Expedition, Mentor Graphics PADS, Altium Designer 6 (Protel) and Number One Systems Easy PC - however our designers are multi-conversant in most packages, and we can read in variouse EDA formats, including Orcad, Eagle, UltiBoard, Boardmaker, P-Cad and, Circuit maker.

At Black Stick our knowledge of PCB design is extensive. We have vast experience of designing PCBs with:

• We can design for all types of board constructions including rigid, flexi-rigid, ceramic, aluminium backed, buried resistance and capacitance.

• We have extensive experience of the challenges of controlled impedance, differential impedance, tight creepage and clearance constraints and blind and buried vias.

• If schematic entry is required, we can take hand drawn schematics and convert them into electronic data. We also accept any netlist format and can generate a layout from this.

• Need a re-design? We can convert Gerbers or plots into intelligent design data ripe for redesign or down costing.

• Need part creation and library management? We can create schematic symbols, Padstacks and PCB footprints and undertake complete library management.
